Tournament Information

Teams and /or players for Division 1 and Premier may enter or play in only ONE State Tournament in a seasonal year.
Recreational teams/players may play in more than one tournament.

Onsite Required documents:
Player
Player pass - Laminated  containing all signatures and a current photograph
Medical Release form - non-notarized and signed by parent

Premier - should also bring Eligibility Form.  If international clearances are required - the related paperwork.   It may be advisable to bring birth certificates to present in case of eligibility challenge. 

Coach/Manager
Coaches pass - Issued by LSA containing all signatures and a current photograph
Coaches are required to wear pass on a lanyard or string around their neck so that they are visible at all times.
Only coaches and/or team managers with an LSA issued pass that indicates risk management screening will be allowed to be in the team area – no exceptions.
Coaches passes cannot and will not be issued onsite.

Failure to have these documents at the field prior to each game will result in the player/coach not being able to participate. There are no exceptions.
Please be sure to collect your team's player passes after each game from the referee crew. 

Roster Information
Only tournament rosters filed before the freeze date  with LSA will be accepted. 
Coaches and team managers need to check the online team information prior to roster freeze dates.  There will be no roster additions for players or coaches at the field.
Jersey numbers must be entered online into the registration system to be printed on the official tournament roster.

Player Equipment/Uniforms
ALL players must have a numbered uniform, THIS INCLUDES GOALKEEPERS.
Failure to have a properly numbered uniform will result in not being allowed to play.
No two players on the same team can have the same number. 
Prior to state tournaments it is required that player jersey numbers be entered into the online registration system so that numbered rosters can be printed. 

Check-in should be as early as one hour prior to first game and no less than 30 minutes prior to first game. Coaches do not need to be present for check-in; a team manager or responsible adult can handle this function.  For the games that start at 7:30 am on Saturday be prepared to check-in no earlier than 6:30 am.

State Cup 2009 Hotel Block in Baton Rouge for May 23-24 

1. Holiday Inn South (225-924-7021) – 125 rooms with a rate of $96.00 for the Courtyard and $101.00 for the Tower

2. Drury Inn (225-766-2022) – 40 rooms with a rate of $93.00

3. Courtyard Marriott Acadian (225-924-6400) – 30 rooms with a rate of $119.00

4. Hampton Inn College (225-926-9990) – 40 rooms with a rate of $99.00

5. Crowne Plaza Baton Rouge (225-925-2244) – 100 rooms with a rate of $95.00

Most of the blocked rooms are doubles. 
Teams need to ask for the BRSA 2009 State Cup Block in order to receive these rates.
