2008 National Youth License Coaching
Course
Any coach who will work with children U12 and younger, even if for only a
one week soccer camp, need to earn this license. Many coaches attending the
"C" License course are coaching preteen players and would find the "Y"
License very much to their liking. Youth soccer administrators, as well as
coaches, should attend the national youth license course.

A change has been made
to Law 3 in the Modified Rules for U10 and U12. The addendums for those
two age groups have
also been updated accordingly. The addendums for U6 and U8 also have a
new note in Law 3. These changes were made in response to inquiries and
comments made by clubs around the country currently playing under the
Modified Rules. After consultation with Alfred Kleinaitis and Barry
Towbin this rule adjustment was made. Here is the link to the page on the
